Chadwicks Group, Ireland’s leading builders’ merchant, has partnered with Kubota to exclusively offer its full range of market-leading mini-excavators across all branches. With a history that spans more than 200 years, Chadwicks Group now employs over 1,300 people across 50 branches, cementing its position as Ireland’s leading provider of building materials and plant equipment.
This new deal, that will be overseen solely by FJS Plant Ltd, will see the builders’ merchant continue to ensure its customers have access to the latest and most innovative mini-excavator solutions available in the market.
Denis Bray, Commercial Manager at Chadwicks Group, said: “When meeting the plant hire needs of such a large and varied customer base such as ours, it’s vitally important that we not only offer efficient and reliable equipment, but also ensure our service and aftercare levels are high.
“This was the driving force behind us wanting to work with Kubota and FJS Plant on a more exclusive basis.
The Kubota brand is very strong and the productivity and reliability of its machines is well-known within the construction industry, allowing us to carry out the daily business operations without the worry of them breaking down or needed drastic maintenance.
“In addition to the performance of the machinery, we also have a great relationship with the team at FJS Plant and with them being solely responsible for our mini-excavator requirements helps streamline our approach to purchasing plant, which ultimately allows us to provide a better service to our customers.”
Ken Walsh, Sales Executive at FJS Plant Ltd, added: “We are extremely excited at the prospect of working more closely with Chadwicks Group.
We share a great understanding of the needs of the construction sector here in Ireland and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with them.”
