Infrastructure services company, FM Conway, has made a significant investment into its fleet by purchasing a raft of new Kubota excavators from dealer Boss Plant Sales, which will help them continue to carry out their work with limited disruption to customers. The Kent-based business has made the decision to purchase two years’ worth of Kubota equipment ahead of the replacement due date for its existing models, to ensure it can continue to run its machinery in the face of the ongoing supply chain issues that are impacting the whole sector.
The investment sees FM Conway’s fleet of Kubota excavators grow to 75, ranging in size from 1.5 tonne to 8 tonne. The machines will be used in FM Conway’s extensive work across transportation, the built environment, and the public sector.
Dan Conway, Plant & Workshop Director at FM Conway, says: “With the whole construction sector facing ongoing supply chain delays, we wanted to take proactive action to ensure we can continue to run Kubota’s reliable machines without complication.
“Kubota machines have a proven track record of durability and are designed to maximise ease of use for operators. When it came to replacing older machines, opting for Kubota was the natural choice.
“Boss Plant Sales have been incredibly supportive and we are looking forward to maintaining this relationship across the next year.”
Launched in 1961, FM Conway has grown to become one of the country’s most respected infrastructure service providers. This growth has been achieved via continued investment into people and processes, with FM Conway pioneering a self-delivery model that combines in house consultancy expertise with frontline operational excellence.
The new deal with FM Conway comes at an exciting time for Boss Plant Sales, which is currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Kubota.
