Takeuchi revealed their new 7-tonne wheeled excavator, the TB370W  at Hillhead for the first time in the UK.

The new model meets the growing demand for more compact sized rubber ducks. It shares the TB370 design concept, the very successful 7-t tracked excavator launched 4- years ago. Recently launched at Intermat and expected to be available in January 2025.

The New TB370W comes with a 2-piece boom as standard. With its neat overall size, the TB370W will be one of the most compact options on wheels, getting into sites and city centres where access can be limited.

It offers excellent operating parameters: 3775mm dig depth, 5288mm dump height and 6907mm reach. With powerful 54.7kW rated output and breakout force (48.4/ 29.4kN) along with 3 auxiliary lines with proportional control, this 7-tonne delivers excellent power performance. Auto-cruise control comes as standard, delivering consistent travel speed when simultaneously operating, an ideal tool carrier for attachments.

The full LED light package and three 270° cameras provide maximum on-site visibility. On the service side the TB370W has the advantage of the unique tilt-up cab for maximum serviceability.

The Takeuchi rubber duck is a customer favourite, and plant hire fleets will be very happy to see a new compact wheeled 3-Series alternative.
