Takeuchi returned to Hillhead in June and tell us that their stand was busy as ever showcasing new products launched in the UK and Ireland over the last four years. Hillhead is a terrific opportunity for team manufacturers to catch up with customers and industry professionals.
Takeuchi HO (Nagano, Japan) was represented by Clay Eubanks, Director of Global Sales who enjoyed talking all things construction with our customers alongside Takeuchi dealers. The company also welcomed new staff from their Rochdale offices visiting Hillhead for the first time.
Popular Takeuchi products on display included the NEW 3-Series excavators – TB370 and TB325R. The 3-Series is the latest generation of Takeuchi machines that will set the benchmark for future Takeuchi models to be launched in the coming years. Making its Hillhead debut was the 6.5 tonne TCR50-2 Tracked Dumper with 180° tipping, rotation skip-tip and 3,700kg payload. Alongside the tracked dumper were two NEW short tail Takeuchi excavators, the full radius TB257FR with fully retractable STS offset boom and the compact TB217R which is already proving to be a popular choice for utilities and plant hire.
Bright red, Takeuchi hydraulic breakers designed to provide superior value through productivity and reliability were proudly displayed on their mini excavator range, the perfect Takeuchi combination.
The company’s network of Takeuchi dealers based across the UK and Ireland showcased all new products released over the last four years and worked the stand remarkably, consisting of AT Best Handlers, Argyll Agricultural Engineers, Breens Farm Machinery, BH Plant Sales, CBL, D&J Machinery, Glyn Lloyd & Sons, JA Bloor Agri, Parkway Plant Sales, Russells Groundcare and Willowbrook Plant Sales.
