Castle Douglas-based James Gordon Ltd (Gordons), the Authorised Dealer for Develon for the whole of Scotland and the county of Cumbria in England, showed the Develon range for the first time at the ScotPlant 2024 Exhibition.
Held at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh in Scotland from 26-27 April 2024, the Gordons stand at ScotPlant provided debuts not only for the Develon brand itself, but also the new DD130-7 15.3 tonne Dozer and the latest version of the DX140LC-7K 14.6 tonne crawler excavator.
These products were joined by a selection of Develon products from the smallest – mini-excavators from 1-10 tonne and the DL80TL compact wheel loader – to some of the larger machines such as the DX140LCR-7 15.6 tonne, DX225LC-7 23 tonne and DX300LC-7 31.5 tonne crawler excavators and the DL380-7 wheel loader. The display also included a Develon DX235LCR-7 24.3 tonne crawler excavator specially adapted for scrapping vehicles.
Based in Dumfries and Galloway, Gordons was established in 1865 and is a premier distributor of agricultural and construction equipment in Scotland.
