As the most popular backhoe in the world, there are always plenty of used JCB 3CX backhoe loaders for sale at Plantpages. With more than 40 years of production there are many different variants to choose from across six model generations.  The latest ECO version, launched in 2020 have stage V engines, a revised cab and more efficient engines. JCB 3CX Sitemaster (11)
The JCB 3CX Sitemaster is the most popular of all the JCB backhoe loader models.  It was launched shortly after the 2wd 3CX in the mid 1980s. Over the years, JCB has added ay variants, but the 3CX Sitemaster has stood the test of time.  This four wheel drive backhoe loader (although JCB insist on calling them ‘excavator loaders’) comes as standard with the Extradig with 6-in-1 shovel and forks – the standard dipper and GP shovel is only for the standard 3CX model. The Sitemaster does share the same engine specifications as the standard model, using the JCB 444 engines for stage II, stage III and stage IV with choices of output from 63 or 68kW. For the top spec models, consider the Contractor with heavy duty lift rams or the Super Sitemaster range. Read More

JCB are almost as famous for their mini-diggers in the UK as they are for their famous backhoe loaders. JCB Site Dumpers (94)
A common site on building sites and here on PlantPages, JCB Site Dumpers are always in demand. JCB manufactures Site Dumpers with payloads of 1 tonne, 3 tonnes, 6 tonnes, 7 tonnes and 9 tonnes - so a 1T has a payload of a tonne etc. Higher up the weight range, the site dumpers go from simple roll over protection bars (ROPS) to the option of a full cab (6T onwards). Check out the 'F' in the model name 7FT, for example. Check out the High Tip (HT in the model name) for those job that need that bit more reach. JCB Telehandlers have been on sale in the UK since launch back in 1977 with the JCB 520 telescopic handler.  This is the precursor to the Loadall range of telehandlers from JCB. There have been many models of JCB telehandler over the years, with the 525 appearing in 1979 - just two years after the initial launch.
