The JCB JS131 LC is the hire specification version of the popular JS130 LC 13-tonne tracked excavator range. This means no SCR, so no Adblue needed, no DPF, but less power than the 130 model using the same EcoMax 444 engine. As a consequence, the JS131 runs more quietly than the 130 model. The JS160LC was available from 2007 until around 2103 with the Isuzu 92kW engine but was upgraded with the 2012 launch of the revised version with the JCB DieselMax 444 engine with 93kW, since upgraded to the 448 stage V with 97kW. When specifying new, buyers of the JCB JS220 LC (Long Carriage) could choose between a monoboom or a TAB (Triple Articulated Boom). The latest model was launched in 2013 and has since been replaced by JCB's latest new generation X Series machine the 220X.
